During the week of April 26th, 2010, UFCU Board of Directors and Management team held a Strategic Planning Meeting to determine short and long-term goals for our Ukrainian Federal Credit Union. The Strategic Planning Meeting was attended by Branch and Department Managers, as well as outside speakers who provide important insight in such areas as Leadership, Immigration Regulations, Internal Audits, Regulatory compliance, Succession Planning, and Asset-Liability Management.
As part of the Strategic Planning, UFCU Management concentrated on a recently initiated major project to Develop and Maintain Quality services and products – the DMQ Sales and Service Initiative. Four Team Leaders: Vasiliy Korchevoy, Red Team Leader; Irina Dobyuk, White Team Leader; Roman Martyniv, Blue Team Leader, and Iryna Kaznovska, Yellow Team Leader were invited to participate with Wasyl Kornylo, President of Board of Directors and Tamara Denysenko, CEO to discuss their common goals, vision and develop a detailed plan to achieve these goals. The main projects that the four teams are currently working on are: (1) Develop a comprehensive Member Satisfaction Survey to determine what areas UFCU needs to improve in; (2) Develop new marketing strategies via electronic services; (3) Improve UFCU staff’s soft skills; (4) Conduct a focus groups research on what changes need to be planned and implemented in the future to make Ukrainian FCU an even better place for its valued members. “It’s all about our members” said Wasyl Kornylo, UFCU Board Chairman. “There is no doubt that all these new initiatives will result in even a better experience for all UFCU members across all branches coast-to-coast” said Tamara Denysenko, CEO. All four team leaders are working diligently to make sure that UFCU Members and their satisfaction will always be a UFCU priority. Ukrainian FCU will continue to improve and grow its service and products, so our members can prosper and grow for generations.
